I have shared this blog with many new people lately, as well as my family sharing it. I just wanted to thank everyone for visiting and remind everyone that we love getting comments. That way we know who has been here to visit Emma. Just hit comment at the end of any post and you can comment on that or anything else you would like. Thank you again for visiting Emma's blog

Hi, Emma! Thank you for coming to visit my blog. I'm glad to read that you are getting on OK with your new medicine, I hope it will help you get off the strong stuff soon - it's hard to grow up and learn when such strong drugs are making you very sleepy all the time.
Do you like playing with switches yet? I have some young friends a little bit older than you who are starting to learn to use their switches to drive wheelchairs and work communication aids, now.
I will come back to see how you are soon!

Just to answer Becca and also anyone else reading (will also try to write Becca on her blog!) I cant use a switch yet but its in my long term goals at therapy. I just cant get my arms to move good enough yet. Maybe my new doctor will help me with that on Aug 1st.
This is the all your readers. I have know this little girl the moment she was born. I was priviledged to have the opportunity to care for her here at NRH. Emma is a very special girl with a special twin sister and a wonderful toddler brother and a super mother and dad. I would like to get the word out to all moms, that Emma's mom is like no other mother I have ever met. I know her personally and she frequently comes to my office to visit and to give me updates on her children. She is so loving, so caring, and so determined to do the very best for her child. At times when nmedicine says "I can't do much more for her", she remains calm and always positive about her little girl. Emma has a very courageous mother that I am very honored to know. She humbles me in all aspects of caring.
Thank you for the kind words, but please give all the creidt to Emma. She makes it so easy to take care of her, she is truly an angel. I will fight for Emma as long as she is willing to fight for herself (and even longer is she gets too tired to do so herself) and she is truly the strongest girl I have ever seen, so I guess I am in in for the long haul! But what a blessing it has been and will be. Its people like the hospital nurses that helped put the idea of strength into Emma and I thank God for them everyday.
This site is one of the best I have ever seen, wish I had one like this.
